Dr. Angela Thompson
Dr. Angela Thompson joined VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center in July 2026 as a Cardiology Specialty Intern. Her passion for Cardiology
was sparked while completing a summer research project during her first year of veterinary school. She's excited to focus on her specialty and hopes
to pursue a Cardiology residency next year. She values the people and culture she works with and is enthusiastic about growing within a collaborative
environment.
Dr. Thompson completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma where she was a D1 athlete and earned her veterinary degree from Kansas State University. She completed a rotating internship here at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center and an ECC/Cardiology specialty internship at the Tufts Veterinary Emergency & Treatment.
